I believe there is beauty in the everyday, the ordinary, and it’s not only worth capturing but worthy of being printed and framed at home.
Time is a thief, it makes memories fade a little or a lot, it makes our children grow too fast, changing them from tiny toddlers to gangly teenagers and adults with their own kids, seemingly overnight. Bedrooms go from being covered in Lego, K’Nex and all the tiny treasures found on walks, to being forever tidy and untouched.
Photographs stop time, they take you back to that moment and make you smile. Films are awesome at making you cry because you see and hear your tiny children again. And they are great for showing at your kids weddings!!If you want real, fun, honestly captured yet beautiful photos of your everyday life, small and big milestones, tiny details, laughter, tears, playtime, snuggles and the beautiful chaos of home or your wild adventurous days exploring outdoors, I am the photographer for you. Your photos will include the whole family, yes Mum that means you too! Mums are all too often the family photo taker and not in the frames too, I’ll change that for you. And I promise you will love and smile at your photos, yes the ones with you in them too! If you’re not a fan of a camera, don’t worry, we’ll chat about that gently and I can suggest ways to include you so you feel comfortable. I promise you’ll forget I’m there but I will capture all the things that make your heart flutter with love and joy, and they should be captured, recorded, displayed on your walls and enjoyed everyday.
How does it work?
Your family photography session with me will be natural because you’ll do what you normally do – I’m just there to quietly observe, click away & give a little direction when needed. I’ll be capturing the essence and magic of your family, your personalities and quirks, the emotion and story of your day, it will be fuss-free and with out props. These relaxed sessions are for families who run a mile at the thought of family photo shoots and perfect for children as they can just be themselves.
Your session can be outdoors in a more lifestyle type of shoot, where I may give some direction or guidance, and interact with you but your photos and story will still be real and authentically you. Or if you wish to capture your family life as purely and honestly as possible you can opt for an in-home documentary session. Whether you choose an outdoor lifestyle session or an at home family documentary session, you’ll be doing what you normally do so your photos will be honest, heartfelt and utterly unique to you. These are the photos that make you FEEL and remember those moments as well as being worthy of display in your home.
Your Session Choices
Below are my most popular session options and can be held at your favourite outdoor location, at home or a mixture of both (excluding the 1 hour session). If these options don’t suit you we can create a bespoke package for you, just ask! With each package you will receive your photos within 2 weeks via a private online gallery.

The Storyteller
£549
Held on a date of your choosing, this package includes a relaxed 3 – 4 hour photoshoot, all high resolution digital images, 30 Professional Prints and a 12×16″ framed print.
You can decide upon the location within North Yorkshire, Cumbria or the North East. I can also offer location suggestions if preferred.
What is included:
- 3 – 4 hour Photoshoot.
- Pre-Shoot questionnaire and informal phone call prior to the shoot to help tailor the session, answer any questions and get to know you and your family a little more before we meet..
- Weekday or Saturday Availability.
- Location of your choice within North Yorkshire, Cumbria or the North East.
- All edited high resolution digital images of your choice, available to download from a private online gallery.
- 30 7×5 Professional Prints of your choice, beautifully gift wrapped.
- A 12 x 16″ Scandi Framed Print or 10 spread coffee table photobook.
- Payment plans available.
A £200 deposit is required to book your date and time, with the remainder due anytime up until the day of your shoot or a payment plan can be arranged*.
The Slice of Life
£295
Held on a date of your choosing, this package includes a relaxed 2 hour photoshoot and 30 high resolution digital images of your choice.
Whether in-home or outdoors, you can decide upon the location within a 1 hour drive of DL10. I can also offer location suggestions if preferred.
What is included:
- 2 hour Photoshoot.
- Pre-Shoot questionnaire and informal phone call prior to the shoot to help tailor the session, answer any questions and get to know you and your family a little more before we meet..
- Weekday or Saturday Availability.
- Location of your choice within a 1 hour drive of DL10.
- 30 High resolution professionally edited digital images of your choice, with the option to purchase more, available to download from a private online gallery.
- 20 7×5 Professional Prints of your choice, beautifully gift wrapped.
- Payment plans available.
A £100 deposit is required to book your date and time, with the remainder due anytime up until the day of your shoot or a payment plan can be arranged*.
The Snapshot
£175
Held on a date of your choosing, this package includes a relaxed 1 hour photoshoot and 15 high resolution digital images of your choice.
Whether in-home or outdoors, you can decide upon the location within a 30 minute drive of DL10. I can also offer location suggestions if preferred.
What is included:
- 60 Minute Photoshoot.
- Pre-Shoot questionnaire and informal phone call prior to the shoot to help tailor the session, answer any questions and get to know you and your family a little more before we meet..
- Weekday or Saturday Availability.
- Location of your choice within a 30 minute drive of DL10.
- 15 High resolution professionally edited digital images of your choice, with the option to purchase more, available to download from a private online gallery.
- 10 7×5 Professional Prints of your choice, beautifully gift wrapped.
Payment can be made in full upon booking or split into two equal payments**.
* Remaining payments can be split into two equal payments, not to exceed two months past your session date. No products or prints will be ordered until all fees are paid in full.
**The first payment is required upon booking to secure your date and time.
