The day will focus on community, empowerment and supporting each other as well as capturing images that reflect who you are, shine a light on how you work and give you fresh new images to move forward with this spring.

How it works
Brand Questionnaire
I find out all about you, your brand and what you want to achieve from the shoot. I send you my prep guide so you know exactly how to get ready for your shoot.
Your Photo Session
The fun part! We spend a fun, relaxed 30 minutes taking photos that capture you and your brand. I offer posing guidance throughout so don’t worry about that!
Your Gallery
Your gallery is live within 2 weeks of your shoot where you can look at your gorgeous new branding photos and download your favourites straight away.
When, where & how much
Included in the session fee is venue hire of a beautiful North Yorkshire property. The location is sorted so you don’t have to worry. We have exclusive use for our own privacy and comfort plus the property owner will be onsite to give us a hand with anything we need.

Located just 5 minutes from the A1/A61 interchange, this gorgeous property is easy to reach whether you’re travelling from Richmond, Northallerton, Harrogate, Ripon or from Teesside.

Multiple seating areas across a light-filled dining room, living room, sun room, kitchen and office will give us plenty of variety for a range of brand images.

Large windows let the light stream in giving us even, natural images and soft portraits. Multiple seating areas give options for beautiful soft light.

The Haus has a soft, neutral colour palette emphasising the quiet, calm ambience. Our exclusive use gives us privacy to create and support one another.

Pre-session planning
Before the day you’ll answer my short questionnaire, I’ll put together a moodboard and we’ll chat about what you need to achieve.
A fun, guided photography session
You’ll get 30 minutes dedicated session time, with guidance from me. We’ll create a variety of purposeful images & some short form video.
A beautiful location
Set in rural North Yorkshire, between Bedale and Ripon but not far from the A1, this property is modern, calm and versatile.
Your Questions Answered
What can I expect?
Once you’ve booked I’ll send you a short questionnaire so I can learn more about you and your work. I will also send you my guide to preparing for the session including those all important clothing tips!
We’ll spend a relaxed and fun (yes really!) 30 minutes together, with me photographing you in a number of different spots around the location, finding the right light, background and poses for you. I promise you’ll even end up enjoying it by the end of the session! We’ll also capture some short video clips for you to use on their own or put together into reels.
Will you edit my images to remove wrinkles, my double chin or make me look slimmer?
I do edit all of your images by hand before they are uploaded to your gallery for viewing. This means spending time ensuring the colours are accurate, and yes I do a little bit of skin smoothing to subtly smooth fine lines as my cameras are very sharp! However, it is important that you still look like you, so I don’t slim my clients down or make them look 10 years younger.
You look lovely just the way you are, and I feel passionate that you should show an authentic version of yourself in your marketing. I will help you to look the best version of yourself.
What if the weather is bad?
We know all too well how unpredictable the British weather can be but fear not! These sessions are largely based indoors. The property has lovely natural light from it’s large windows and I will be bringing my own light with me, just in case. There are multiple seating areas available that will enable us to capture a variety of purposeful images whatever the weather does.
We are able to use the patio and gardens if the weather is good, so fingers crossed!
But I don't like being photographed!
Please don’t let this feeling stop you! All of my clients say this but remember, I photograph real people, and none of them knew how to pose before their shoots with me either!
I will gently direct you during the shoot to ensure you’re in the most flattering poses. And don’t worry about not knowing what to do with your hands….I’ve got you covered! I always find the planning process helps clients feel prepared and knowing what will happen eases their nerves. There will also be other women there to encourage you!
Will there be any hard sell afterwards?
Absolutely not! It’s just not me. I hate the hard sell as much as you do. All of my prices are completely upfront and transparent, so there are no nasty surprises after the session. You get 10 high resolution images included in the shoot price and I’ll email the social media sized versions after you’ve downloaded your 10. You can purchase more if you wish from your gallery for £15 per image with discounted packages available.
There is no obligation to purchase any additional images or to book a full brand shoot. Of course, I’d be delighted if you did in the future!
Do I have to stay all day?
Absolutely not! You are perfectly welcome to arrive for your session time and leave after it. I do encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes before your session time so you can settle in, have a look around and relax. You are welcome to stay as along as you like, it helps the other women if everyone supports one another.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. If most people want to stay all day I’ll look into providing lunch.
